Rachel Oguntola is a recent Masters graduate in International Development, with a specialization in social entrepreneurship. She is especially interested in leveraging private sector resources to address society’s most pressing challenges, particularly those relevant to Africa. Before joining the Fund, Rachel worked with the Africa practice at McLarty Associates, a DC-based boutique consulting firm. She has also previously served as an Africa fellow for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, conducting research relating to U.S.-Africa policy as well as supporting business development efforts for the Chamber’s U.S.-Africa Business Center. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Rachel is an alumna of the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa and has also lived in Paris, France studying at the American Business School of Paris. Rachel earned a B.Sc in Business Administration with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University.
