In the past decade, Lynn has led operations for several startups, including one that raised a Series A round. Prior to joining AVFund, she served as Head of Operations (Africa) at Impacc gGMBH, where she led the organization, community, and venture programs. In addition, she previously served as Afrilabs’ Board Secretary.
Presently, Lynn is a board member of Children of Purpose School, founded and run by her parents. By providing guidance, strategy, and fundraising support, she hopes to enhance the school’s impact on underprivileged students. Lynn is also a mentor for GIZ’s MentorMe Kenya program, as well as a mentor for other organizations that focus on empowering entrepreneurs and university students in the country.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. She also holds a Certificate in Women and Leadership from the European Business University.
Despite being an introvert, Lynn warms up to people very quickly. She loves laughing, building communities, volunteering, bowling, and watching anything that features Denzel Washington. She’s also a huge fan of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and loves British murder mysteries.
