Fueling Change: How MJUMITA is Pioneering Sustainable Charcoal Production in Tanzania

MJUMITA and the Tanzania Forest Conservation Group (TFCG) have implemented a sustainable charcoal production model in several regions, improving forest management and community wellbeing. This model allows quick regeneration of the Miombo woodland, with revenue from charcoal taxes funding local infrastructure and increasing women's involvement in conservation efforts.
