Nafissatou Sene, affectionately known as Nafi, hails from Dakar, Senegal, but her journey spans continents, including residences in Mali, the UK, Kenya, South Africa, the US, and France. This rich tapestry of experiences has instilled an appreciation for diverse cultures and the ability to adapt to new environments seamlessly. Nafi earned a BA in International Relations & Business from ETICCA Dakar and furthered her education with an MSc in Project Management from the University of Salford, Manchester.
Previously, Nafi served as a Program Associate at Open Society Foundations, where she focused on equity, inclusivity, democratic governance, and civic engagement. Nafi is deeply committed to social justice, ensuring marginalized communities access opportunities that enhance their quality of life. As a proud pan-Africanist, she finds inspiration in witnessing the empowerment and solidarity of women across the continent.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Nafi finds joy in dancing, football, and journaling, and her Sundays are dedicated to food and precious family moments.
